Terms of Service

By creating a CuraHome account, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use CuraHome.
1. What CuraHome Is
CuraHome is a household management app that helps families stay organized — coordinating meal planning, cleaning schedules, grocery lists, and family communication. We offer a free tier and a paid Premium subscription.
2. Your Account
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account (parents can create child profiles within their household).
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You're responsible for all activity under your account.
- One person, one account. Don't share your login with people outside your household.
- Provide accurate information. Don't impersonate someone else.
If you think someone has accessed your account without permission, contact us immediately at support@curahome.app.
3. Household Members
- The account creator is the household admin.
- Admins can invite other adults and create profiles for children.
- All household members can view and interact with shared household data (tasks, medications, care notes).
- Admins can remove members and delete the household.
- If you're invited to a household, you agree that the admin can manage your membership.
4. Subscription & Billing
Free Tier
- Basic household management features at no cost.
- We may change what's included in the free tier with 30 days' notice.
Premium Subscription (iOS)
- iOS subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and managed by Apple.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- To cancel, go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad.
- Prices may change. Apple will notify you of any price increase before it takes effect.
- No refunds for the current subscription period, but you can cancel to prevent future renewals.
Premium Subscription (Web)
- Web subscriptions are billed via Stripe, monthly or annually.
- Monthly: Billed every month. Cancel anytime — access continues until the end of your billing period.
- Annual: Billed once per year. Cancel anytime — access continues until the end of your annual period.
- Prices may change. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before any price increase.
Refunds
- Annual plans: Full refund within 14 days of purchase if you're not satisfied.
- Monthly plans: No refunds, but you can cancel anytime and won't be charged again.

5. Acceptable Use
Use CuraHome to:
- Manage your household tasks, care activities, and schedules
- Collaborate with your family members
- Export your own data
Don't use CuraHome to:
- Break any laws
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
- Upload harmful, illegal, or offensive content
- Attempt to access other people's households or data
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or hack the app
- Use bots or automated tools to access the service
- Resell or redistribute CuraHome
- Overwhelm our servers (DDoS, spam, etc.)
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Your Content
- You own your data. The tasks, care notes, medication records, and other content you create belong to you.
- You give us permission to store, process, and display your content only to provide the service to you and your household.
- We will never use your content for advertising, sell it, or share it outside your household (except as described in our Privacy Policy).
- You can export or delete your data at any time.
7. Our Intellectual Property
- CuraHome's name, logo, design, code, and features are owned by us.
- These terms don't give you any rights to our branding or technology.
- You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from CuraHome.
- Feedback and suggestions you share with us may be used to improve the product without obligation to you.
8. Availability & Changes
- We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee 100% availability.
- We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time.
- For significant changes, we'll give reasonable notice.
- We perform maintenance as needed, usually during low-usage hours.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- CuraHome is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to hold us harmless from claims arising from your use of CuraHome or violation of these terms.
11. Termination
You Can Leave Anytime
- Delete your account in Settings → Account → Delete Account.
- All your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
- Active subscriptions will not be renewed after deletion.
We Can Terminate Access If
- You violate these terms.
- You use CuraHome for illegal purposes.
- Your account is inactive for more than 24 months (we'll warn you first).
- We discontinue the service entirely (with 90 days' notice).
12. Disputes
- We'd prefer to resolve things informally first. Email us at support@curahome.app.
- If we can't resolve it, disputes will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA.
- You agree to resolve disputes through binding arbitration rather than court, except for small claims.
- Class action waiver: Disputes must be brought individually, not as part of a class action.
13. Changes to These Terms
- We may update these terms from time to time.
- We'll notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days in advance.
- Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the new terms.
- If you disagree with changes, you can delete your account before they take effect.
14. Miscellaneous
- If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- Our failure to enforce a right doesn't waive that right.
- These terms are the entire agreement between you and CuraHome regarding use of the service.
- You can't transfer your account or rights under these terms to anyone else.
